You can but won't be easy to find, if any it'll be old grey market stock.

Yes, the price is pretty good.

Options in this size for you as of today are:

Yoko ES100
Michelin Energy MXV8
Michelin Pilot Primacy (hard to find now)

Out of these the Yoko is more performance biased whereas the MXV8 is comfort biased so take your pic from both depending on what you prefer. Oh and yeah, Michelin is going to be more expensive compared to the Yoko's.

Your options in 185/70 R14 are:

Yoko A300
Michelin Energy XM1

So there are no other options in Yoko or Michelin as of now. I would suggest staying away from Potenza GIII's too, they've been good tyres in the past, as of now they are purely mediocre.

No, unlike the accessories or ICE market the tyre market has no "Fakes". There are grey imports & official imports like in most other things in our country but thankfully till now there are no cheap fakes. So, if you see a tyre stamped as Yokohama, it will be original. And stock exchange price sounds pretty good.

Does anyone know if Michelin XM1+ coming with a tyre size of 195/60 R15. The standard upsize for Swift? In the michelin india site this size is not available in XM1+.

No, it's not available in 195/60 R15. Michelin options in that size are MXV8 & BFG.

Hey all
I'm getting my Swift VDI in the next couple of weeks or so (it's been 2 months already since I booked it...geez).
This question might have been asked before, apologies for taking your time.
Wanted to check with the forum members if the manufacturer warranty gets void if I upsize the tyres to 15-inch ones. Couple of showroom guys told me this. Has anyone encountered any warranty issues due to the upsize?
If that's the case, then I guess I'll just upgrade to 14-inch alloys and 185/70/R14 tyres. BTW, is the tyre size I've mentioned the recommended upgrade or can I go with broader tyres like 195/60/R14.

Reason I say this is because according to your earlier post, the stock size for the European Swift is totally different from the Indian Swift.

The only reason I posted this was to provide swift owners a rough estimate of the different rim sizes that they can fit on their Swift.

That's not entirely true Wimwian. I put on Hankooks in size 205/60/r14 on my ma's swift. Amazing level of grip, non-existent road noise and FE of 14-16 kmpl to boot!!

What else is needed?

Shucks, I don't think Hankooks are available in Kolkata. Any other choices in 195 or 205?
