Very true buddy, nobody wants to buy the stock wheels or wheel caps, basically a waste of storage space. Unless someone can come with good suggestion to use them somewhere

Bought the Punto OE alloys today for soon to be delivered GP 1.3 MJD in Exotic Red.

Can anyone please tell me how to paint / powder-coat them in matt black?

Where did you get them done? Was it a DIY job?
Can you please give me some pointers?

I was also thinking about matt finish with chrome lip.

My suggestion is this: Dont get it painted now. They look brilliant and they are almost perfect. No scratches or anything.

Use them like this for a year or so. By that time there will inevitably be a few scratches and dings..... Then get it painted.

Thanks Cyrus.
Could you please do me a favor?
Paint lip chrome instead of red and leave the fiat logo as it is, if its not much of a work.
Thanks a lot.

So, finally upgraded tyres and Alloys. Congrats

Looking way better than the one with stock tyres. (But, why OE alloys - you could have got great looking ones in aftermarket alloys)

Howz the handling ? Noise levels in Michelin ?

People, even if they dont know anything about tyres, would prefer a Bridgestone, Michelin or MRF because they have heard of these brands. Many people havent heard of Pirellis, Yokos or Continentals.

Many of these alloys come from Taiwan and many more come from China. Usually Taiwan has better quality control than China, but when it comes to alloys, everything is the same. It's just price which rules.
Konig is nothing but a private brand and they get there wheels from taiwan, china and thailand. Many of the konig designs are made by League, you can check both websites to confirm. Lenso, again world over is considered no better brand than League or HR. So i beleive you can keep League, HR, Konig and Lenso in one category and OZ, BBS in another.

Thanks. I bought the alloys when buying the car itself.

Handling is much better than stock. Braking has also improved.

I cannot say these are super quiet but the noise is much less than the stock Bridgestones.
