Default New footwear for my Lancer

Time has come to get my Lancer's tyres changed. I have original Mitshubhi's alloy wheels. Current size of tyre is 175/70 R13.

I want to know which tyres i should go for. The car is driven by my dad in city so performance is not a big issue. My main criteria is looks. should i go for 185/70 R13 or 195/60 R13.

I was thinking of Michelin Certis or Bridgestone POTENZA GIII .

Please suggest me which i should go for.

Assuming ur cars condition is stock 185/70 R13 fills the bill perfectly....also check Pirelli P4000....or else settle for G3 as it is more reliable than Certis but u will hav to be ready for a bad ride quality. Also try avs-E100[donno if they r available in 13inches]....

first at all dont go for R13 do a R14 or R15 on lancer its cool then do not opt for low profile design if you are not liking performance

Hey Rodeo
I would suggest 185/70-13 with your stock alloys
I guess your alloys to be 5.5J in size so anything more than 185 is not recommended...

Suggesting an upsized rim size n also not recommending the low profile tyres
Only one is possible.....

13's seem kind of puny on a lancer, an upsize to 14 or 15 would be great if you could manage the same.
If you do yet intend to stick to 13's then stick to 185/70 or 185/65 (whatever is available) g3's, they're bloody good.

PM autopsyche. He has isntalled various alloys on different lancers. He can tell you probably which will be the right fit.

You should go for Potenza G3..Only disadvantage is that once you clock more than 30,000 KM on the new tyres they become noisy..otherwise for city driving and occassional Highways...Nothing is even close to bridgestone...You can upsize to R14 and choose 14 Inch Alloys....But then your total cost will be like Potenza G3- 4000-4500 Per Tyre and Alloy Rim- 2000 Per tyre- Its better to go with trusted Alloys Wheels company rather than buy cheap or fancy chinese-taiwanese rims..You can check out Orignal OEM Alloy rims at showrooms or you can also try Hindalco and visit there website for more desgins...!
I have Potenza G3 on my lancer, Performance is excellent....And sorry..can't say otherwise as I don't race or drive too fast...!

Since your criteria also includes looks, 195/60/R15. Lancer needs 15 inchers. With tires you have lot of options, Dunlop SPSport9000 is what I have.

I cant change my rims. dont want to invest on old car.. I have gone for Michelin tubeless and had flat tyre the first day :(... The problem with bridgestone is while going for tyre rotation. You need to remove it from rim and then put while changing the side. Bridgestone also become noisy after a while so opted for Michelin.
