My Lancer - 17's and 15's - Team-BHP

Some pics of my Lancer before and after paint.

Cracked 2 of the right side 17's and tore a tyre from bead to tread on the way to Panchgani. Hit a sharp ditch at about 100. Got her upto 185 indicated on the Expressway before this happened. Will try and upload the video.

Running on 15's and 205/55-ZR15's after Panchgani mishap. Awaiting my 17's after rim truing. Dunlop SP9000, quite easily the best all round tyre in the world. Was using Yokohama before, prior to that Bridgestones and Pirelli's even earlier.
Running 245/45-ZR 17's on brother's Accord. I know white is a difficult colour to maintain..but this takes the cake..LOL!!

I know..quite shameless, if you ask me..heehee..but once you have experienced bone jarring, spine compressing, suspension killing 17's on REALLY low pros, you just can't go back to soft, smooth 15's ;-)...go figure...

Hi,
Yes, undoubtedly quite bad. Was on 40's, then moved to 45's.
And it really hurts when one of the outer lips mashes into one of our 100,000 potholes...read..everyday!! ;-)

Wow, the 17s look killer on your Lancer and Accord. Buttttttttttt it really must have made both the cars incredibly jarrish for daily use.

Do you know what jarred bones and compressed spines can do to you? You will drive longer on 15s, unless you prefer to be driven around - in a wheelchair. Just a bit of friendly advice from a person who has compressed cervical and lumbar vertebrae.

Take it easy - what you look like 20 years down the line is more important than how hot you look now!

Thanks GTO...they did look fab..Hope they will look better now..?!The Honda rides really well, surprisingly..I am running 245/45-ZR17 Dunlop sp9000's at about 24 all around and the ride has been very supple for the last 6 months..It does get untidy over bad roads..pot hole peppered..

Thanks for the honesty Steeroid, believe it or not but when I hit the ditch, I felt it so bad in my back, i was on deep heat/iodex for 2 days!
But since i am stepping up from a 92mm profile (205/45) to a 102mm (224/45), and a wider footprint (read lower air pressure) I hope it will make some difference..will post pics when they are on..
