I just happened to fit my matiz with 14" Alloys and 195/45R14 Tyres.

i should admit the car is completely transformed into a cute sporty looking baby .

here's a picture.

Hey Regnex,

The alloys are looking good.

I will be getting a Spark shortly and was wondering if I could fit my Swift's 14" alloys on it along with the Swift's 185/70R14 tires. Going by your example the 14" 5.5J alloys should not be an issue but I am not so sure of the tires. Could you let me know what is the stock tire size, the pcd and your experience on clearance issues if any with the 14" alloys.

Khoj,

AFAIK, Spark original wheel size is 13", width 5.5J, PCD 114.3, 4 holes and the Offset is E38,

the Swift is 14", width 6j, PCD 100, 4 holes and Offset is E38

as you can see from the above, to fit the swift alloys on the spark will not be possible as the PCD's don't match.

Regarding the Tyre size for upsizing on the Spark, recommended sizes are:
for 14" alloys would be 195/45R14 or 185/50R14 . Any different size wouldn't be right.

as far as clearance goes, i don't think you will have any problem with the width up to 6.5J Alloys. The ones on my matiz are 6.5J and do not touch or grind in any way i drive the car.

hope this info helped

cheers

Hello Regnex,
I am trying to upsize my Matiz wheels, with the combination you have done. Could you please let me know if you had any issues whatsoever in the handling, rubbing or significant mileage drop?

Thanks for your help!
