Default Tyres for Honda Accord

Hey guys,
we have a Honda Accord (the first gen to be launched in India). The car has done 67Kkm and has seen 2 pairs of tyres.
The first were the sock 195/65/R15 Bridgestone Turanzas which needed to be replaced at 27Kkm and the next pair were the Eagle F1 GS D1/D2 (205/65/R15), which lasted from then till now.
We are now looking for new tyres, same size - 205/65/R15.
Requirements -
1. Safety
2. Improve Ride quality as car is being used by mom
3. Should be silent
4. Should look good

Can you guys suggest some brand?
I was keen on the Potenza GIIIs or the Yokohamas.

Cheers

GIII wont serve your 3rd requirement...!!! Rest it would do it with ease especially the safety (very grippy),,!!!

As u want ride quality n low road noise i would suggest Michelins XM1 or Pilot Precedas

GIII would fulfill all your requirements apart from the silent & ride quality part. Since now it's used by your mother you should try one of the following:

Michelin Energy XM1
Michelin Pilot Primacy
Bridgestone Turanza
Yokohama C-Drive

As usual, I'll say the same thing I always do. Goodyear Eagle Ventura.

They match every one of your requirements perfectly.

elf -
we had Goodyear Eagle Venturas on our Lancer and they were amazing. But i want to try some other brands out. But if i don't like anything else, guess ill get these.

Iraghava -
The car came with stock Turanza's which wore out quickly. Don't know if the new ones are the same.

Think i'll try out the Energy or the Yokos but if they are unavailable, think i'll go for the Venturas.
Anyone know what prices to expect in Mumbai?
I called up one person and he quoted 4.5K for the Michelins.

I second Elf,Goodyear Eagle Ventura's are your best bet considering that they fulfill all your requirements. Besides aren't Potenza G III's phased out by Bridgestone ?? I believe they've been replaced by the ER600 range.

i dont think so. g3s are their high performance tyres and turanzas are more comfort oriented.

I believe the Accords came with Turanza ER-30. Bridgestone has since then launched Turanza ER-60.

I saw Bridgestone Sports Touring MY-03 with a similar pattern as Potenza GIII...May be thats the replacement for GIII
