stock in SFXi is 185/60-14. which is itself wrong.

KP,
Do you tink the 16" will do great harm to the suspension and ride quality?

OK then the difference bcomes even bigger

GLX 175/80-13 RR - 305mm

SFXi 185/65-14 RR - 288.8 mm

Difference of 5.64 % in circumference

which is why 205/50-15 n 205/50-16 both satisfy different stock sizes n work well in lancer.....even though there's a huge difference in size

Lucky told me that I'd be so pissed off with the lousy ride that I'd be back in a week to burn his shop down if he'd install 16" wheels.

205/50/15 will be perfect for the Lancer and wont touch the wheel arches at all.

I have seen 225/40/17s on Lancers.

U are right 205/50-15 wont touch anywhere...

I've seen 225/40-17 on one of Autopsyche's modded lancer but it had wide body kit ....Dunno if the stock setup can take this much....

I've driven lancer with 50 profile tyres the ride was manageable.....Though it also depends on where u gonna drive your car...

Depends, but I think 215/225 should be possible.

Again, it depends on a lot of things like Alloy offset & Tyre Profile. Have seen 17" on many Lancer's and a Swift where they don't touch.

Yes, it will be harsher & the suspension life will be reduced in our road conditions.
