Don't do that, you'll spoil a prefectly good looking alloy & the old looks can not be reverted back to. I know this, because I had to get them done & regretted it ever since.

The OHC/NHC alloys come in a machined finish which cannot be replicated unless you have access to a CNC machine.

Default Removing stains from Neo alloys

Hi,
My maruti is shodded with Neo 12'' alloys. They are almost a year old and have developed stains on them.(Pics Below)

On Scrubbing with a tootbrush wrapped with a wet cloth diluted with a glass cleaner(Colin spray) i noticed transparent stands coming from the wheel like in the Pic below.

Size: 82.9 KB

Now is this muck or is this finish of the wheel which is coming off ? I stopped scrubbing after the strands start to come off.Neverthless the stains still remain and no idea how to remove them.

So Bhpians any "bright" ideas how to remove the stains from the wheels ?

thanks

Mate,
The strands that are coming out is the clear coating that was coated on the alloy by the manufacturer. You will Not be able to remove these stains. You will need to buff/machine polish the alloy wheel.
