With 12" wheels u will have good ride quality but the tyre size options becomes less 145/80-12 and 165/70-12 only and u wont get very good tyres in that size...

With 13" wheels the car's performance will improve in terms of braking and handling but the ride quality will reduce.

165/60-12 is not a correct size for Zen.. It will reduce the GC n cause problems.

Best upsize would be in this order
155/65-13
165/60-13
165/65-13

Tyres u should consider are Yokohama Aspec 300 and Michelin XM1.

Its a crazy upsize only for looks..
I dont think a one litre engine and a pretty ordinary suspension of Zen needs such an upsize.

155/65 R13 will be an excellent choice (Simply go for Michelin XM1)
otherwise 165/60 R13 should be the next best (I know GIIIs of these perform excellently well on Zen, you can try out Michelins as well)

When u are gonna upsize tyres from 12" to 13" the ride quality is surely gonna suffer in comparison to the stock wheels but the handling/ braking would be fantastic with 13" wheels...So it depends on u what u want and where u are gonna drive the most... If its around 50% highway then 13" wheels are recommended else for driving on bad roads 12" wheels would be a better bet.

with 155/65-13 u can expect only a marginal drop in FE...
