Did i get a good deal?

Hi

I did my tyre exchange in Dec 06. I was a new member then and did not ask for advise or price suggestions on TBHP.

I got my new 155/80 R13 (dun remember the brand) tyres exchanged with Michelin XM1 175/70 R13.

The exchange had cost me 4500 Rs at that time.

Just wondering, was it a good deal?

Can't exactly say if u got a deal or not unless u mention the tyre brand of 155/80-13...?
Some tyres like the Bridgestone S248 or S322 are given more exchange value than the MRFs and others.

Its a Getz 1.3 GLE. So whichever brand is standard on the base model, i believe i got that.

I think it has to be either Bridgestone S248 or Goodyear GT3..Out of which S248 has a better exchange value.

175/70-13 XM1 sells for around 2.6k so if u got 5 tyres for 4500 then i think its a good deal.

Thanks KP. I hope you took into account that i bought them at dec 06 prices.
BTW..just remembered that i paid 900 rs/tyre as the exchange price!

Yeah, it is a pretty decent exchange value, assuming that they were brand new tyres.
