As NC said, here is what i did.... i exchanged 4 tires& wheels, bought 4new tires and 5new alloys, and kept the original stepney and tire. So as a result i have the stock stepney in the boot (which is a good thing coz when u upsize and try and put a tire/wheel in the boot is usually causes issues.) My 5th alloy sits here under my bed just in case one of the four gets dinged up. And the stock stepney works fine if i need to get my tire repaired or such (was running on the stepney for a strech of 5days once....no problems. It seems your leaning towards the imported ones ![]() League alloy designs = yeah baby! cheers R

| my suggestion would be go in for imported, but try to buy a design which has a similar design in the indian made rims, for example my friend has 4 hr flower shaped rims and one aura of the same design,as one of the hr rims got stolen!

| Senior - BHPian | ive been using imported rims on all my cars for the last 15 years or so and to date havent managed to break or damage any, they are built to very good standards i must say. (or maybe ive been lucky!) and as the common opinion goes i dont feel any indian rims worth the design at all theyre just too boring. i dont see any worries with imported ones and yeah getting a set of 5 is a good idea just incase u manage to snap one.

Dont choose by company. From what i have heard all the "imported" wheels sold here in bombay in the pricerange you are considering are made by the same one or two companies in taiwan or somewhere. its just the plastic snap on cap that has the "brand" on it... so dont worry about that. If you need another factor to help you decide you could always pick up the wheel and see how heavy it is in comparison to another... lol cya R

| Senior - BHPian | we all know how good aura's designs are however, a recent autocar or overdrive mentioned that neo has started supplying to the states, for caddy, jag etc (dont know if oem or aftermarket). their quality is as good as league or hr and now their designs have really improved. plus there's the single replacement, and the warranty.
