35 profile tyres on indian roads...

I think most of the 35 profile tyres start from 215 or more.

Just toady I happened to see a Honda Accord at Anwar's fit with 245/35/19 , looks mean!! 35s start from 225.

MODS : Close this topic, found solution.

Guys please make use of this application

OZ

It is by OZ racing , they have PCDs for various vehicles and the recommended tyre size as well. For Getz 205/40/17 is a perfect upsize.

Yes, ideally it's the best upsize but unfortunately there is no tyre available in that size & also I think 35 on 205's is way too low, not that 40 is much better but still I would prefer the highest possible profile available/acceptable.

Have driven a getz with 17" fitted on it. Thing is after stage 2 mods and cams, the car could do only 120kmph max. There was no problem with the rim bending bla bla bla. We had quite a few scary moments on the satyamangalam road which was in a very bad condition. But no issues whatsoever. The rims held fine. The ride quality was surprisingly good ( for a low profile 17" that is ).

Better make that cruises easily at 140 kmph. I was the one driving.

Looks amazing, too. Proper Euro hot hatch.

This is strange!!! My stock swift on 17" wheels would do 160 without any probs.

And now after the FFE,it reaches 175.

Umm, considering original size to be 175/70/13 and the upsize as 205/40/17, the difference is just 21mm in overall tyre diameter. How will this small increment affect performance???
