Lightbulb

We've got an SX4 ZXi at home(Cochin) and it is time for the tyres to be changed. Following factors are more important than outright performance:-
- Comfort
- Tyre life
If we can get everything in one package (performance incl.) then there's nothing better.
The experts please suggest which set of tyres would be the best bet and the prices.

My SX4 has yet to complete 30K, still I inquired for tyres, I felt Micheline (9.2K) or Yokohama (8.8K) are good replacement. This was to replace stock 205/65/R16. Bridgestone Turanza was quoted 8.2K

Default Re: Tires for SX4 ZXI

Under normal city driving conditions,my SX4s (ZXI) Conti CPC2s were completely worn out by 16000 kms.
Any suggestions on which tyre to go for? Apollo, Bridgestone, Yoko?

I think you might have used with incorrect tire pressure. I purchased gauge for the same purpose. Inflated tires at 35psi and corrected to 33.5psi next morning cold tire condition. recheck at monthly basis. I got fuel saving worth 8-10%. It not only recovered cost of gauge but increased tire life too. So far on stock tires 41K @ 4Yrs9Months, replacement due before coming monsoon.

Michelin are softer Yoko are little harder and Bridgestone are most durable. No experience about Apollo in known circle. I might be looking for Yoko or Bridgestone.
