Default Alpina Replicas

On friday I saw a white Swift ZXI on the Vashi highway. It had, get ready for this
Alipina wheels!!! I am sure they must be replicas, as the originals cost half as much as the car

I couldn't snap a pic as I was driving...My driver still doesn't know how to use my N95 cam, am definately gonna teach him now!

Anyone know of this car, it is Mumbai registered, the wheels are white, and look amazing!

Could be fake, but don't be surprised if someone did splurge on authentic Alpinas. I have seen some hatchbacks with sound systems that cost as much as the car.

Hey I just got a pic of the wheels off the internet...They were the same ones, in white...

Each wheel costs 330 GBP...Which translates to Rs: 26,020
So for a set of 4 it cost him Rs: 104,080. Then add shipping + handling, And customs...

Wow that's a lot for a set of rims on a Swift...but they're just soooo damn beautiful!!!

Won't be real for sure, that design has been copied by a lot of wheel makers over the years.

Are you sure? The Alpina site mentions the smallest size available as 18" for the 1 series and Z4.

Alpina wheels have been available for a long time. Perhaps the ones used on the new BMWs are of the said size...

But for example the ones used on my BMW were 15" and 16"...
The 16"s being more popular, which makes the 15"s a small blip in history.

So yeah Alpina still makes those rims, and don't go by their site, it's really not very good. Doesn't help much with the older cars...
