Default Tyres for NHC 2005. pls help

Hello Guys,

I need help in selecting a new set of tyres for my NHC which has been driven around on S322 brigestone tyres as they are over with thier life. (60000 kms)

I know this has been discussed before. but cannot come to a conclusion with those discussions.

I have 14 inch HR alloys with them.

After searching extensively on the forum. I i have come out with some conclusions but help you experiences guys to zero in on the final tyre,

Keeping the considerations in mind pls help me out

1) I drive mostly in the city with some 100 kms on the highway each week where i normally zip around at speed about 100-120 with touching 140 sometimes for a moment to keep my heart pumping hard. lol

2. Comfort is most important as i drive 6 days in the city. Every pothole is felt with my current tyres.

3.Economy- i dont want any loss in the fuel economy.

4. Long tyre life.

what i have gathered from reading that i should not go above 185.

I have a budget of around 3200-3400 per tyre.

bridgestone ER60 (dont come in 185/65R14)
yokohoma A drive
The michilin XM1 are expensive but can be thought about.

Should i go with the present 175/65R14 or upsize to the 185/60R14 or 185/65R14

Keeping in mind that with above considerations. please help me select the tyres as soon as possible.

Also if you could tell me the approx prices of the above tryes.

You could go for Continental in 185/60 R14. You could go for Yoko A drive in the same size. You could go for Turanza ER 60 in 195/60 R 14. You could go for Michelin XM1+ in 195/60 R14 or 185/60 R14 or 176/65 R14. You have a LOt of options. You cant go wrong with any of them.
