You're running the wrong tyre pressure. PP2s are very good in heavy water and standing water.

28/28 front and rear. What else could the tyre pressure be . If i'm at more than 120, it aquaplanes once in a while. Below that no issues.

Ok. It's official. what everyone knows and what even I knew is confirmed. I need a better car now. Maybe someone's modded Baleno with more power and better springs.

The car is simply too soft. We had been to Mysore for the weekend. I drove the whole way going and half the way while coming.

Even at the slightest curves, there is too much body roll and the suspension is too soft.

This trip was quite sedate actually. We had a speedbreaker with us in the car(my mom was in the front seat). Never crossed 100, but then rarely did I dip below 80 too. Took most of the curves at 80 or so and while it was a breeze, there was a little too much body roll.

Also, yesterday, there was some heavy rain in Mysore and we drove on Hunsur Road to the new Honda showroom there. The tyres are quite good in the rains. I didnt have much opportunity to test them at speeds greater than 60 or 70kmph, but at these speeds, not once did I feel the loss of grip or aquaplaning. It was quite predictable and steering was as sharp as ever(within the limits of the crappy steering i.e).

They are also quite comfortable. I mean, no major thuds and excess noise. Even tyre noise is quite minimal. We did drive for quite a few kms without the music and there was no discernible tyre noise when we were cruising at 100 or 90kmph.

As Rahul said, maybe you need to be at speeds above 140kmph to actually hear it.

All in all, these are stunning tyres. They are almost all rounders if it was not for the fact that these will last just abt 20k kms.

you must be the first person to get some hawt tires and think of upgrading the car. most people upgrade their car, and only then think of upgrading their rubber

Well, working in the tyre business has it's upsides! No need to worry about the cost of the tyres as such. Generally, these tyres aare quite expensive for the normal person. Though in 14", it is still ok. In 15" and above, it is ridiculously expensive. Recommended only for the hardcore performance freak. Not for anyone else.

What size? Again, he would have got a nice discount from the company. Tyrestore is Mr. Loonchand right? IIRC, he is an MPP.

225/50/R17 on his Skoda Octavia. I think he'd got them down as a one-off since they dont stock this size.

Even simpler thing to do is to gift wrap the tires and give them to someone who already owns a modded Baleno . Will save you the trouble of having to spend money on upgrading the car.

On a serious note, the AD07's need better suspension. If not body roll becomes pronounce.
