But it works fine for the car and bike as well.

Its WAY better than the foot pumps, I have used before.
Does the plug fit the wider valves of car tires? The valves of bicycle tires are pretty small.

This pump works for both Schrader and Presta valves.
My cycle has a Schrader.
This is the same valve that is found in autmobiles.

inital feel: it makes sound while operation. but i think it is normal for all air pumps.(operated electrically)
it takes about 20 secs for 1 psi increase.
looks nice with on-off switch and length of cord is long enough for all fr tyres.

attaching some pics
Is this product still in market, in Bangalore is Spar the only place or automobile spares showrooms will keep it? Is the cord provided long enough?

Folks mentioned the pressure guage on the unit turned faulty soon, should I be buying a pressure guage seperately?

Bought the Coido 2153 Air Compressor from an online store for INR 849. Build quality is decent, though I have a very strong feeling that I WILL break the Valve Release Stub. The pump is noisy at best and vibrates a lot. It cant be kept on the ground on its own and needs a firm press to hold it to the ground; else will keep jumping around all over the place. Reminded me of a mixer grinder trying to grind some ice cubes !!!

On the other hand, the rate of filling air is very good. I deflated the tyre half way through and refilled it with the pump. It was up to the 32PSI mark in 30-45s flat! I am not sure how accurate the meter is. I will go to a nearby filling station and get the reading verified. Overall, happy for the price I paid. Definitely not worth the MRP (1499/-).

I recently visited Decathlon and found this foot pump for cycles

Based on your earlier purchase, would you recommend this pump for car (maruti)? From the wikipedia link, I assume Maruti cars use the Schrader valves too.

It will definitely work but its expensive and I am not sure you need something this expensive for just one car.

Also most of the pumps are calibrated for higher pressures. So the gauge will be difficult to tune for filling in exactly 35 or 36 psi.
On a cycle approximately 70 or 80 is fine.
But for a car the difference between 32 and 35 can be quite high.
