| BHPian | well as far as I know the .5 type rims are not available anywhere. you can fit upto 17" tyres on your swift without any problems but in my opinion 195/60-R15 are the best. there are plenty of 4 spoke designs available in bangalore in your price range. I have a similar set on my car you can pm me for details. |

| I booked the VXi and am looking for a upsize. 185/65 R15 is what I am looking towards. Is it really worth the investment and how much is it going to effect the FE. Any specific brands/Model number of alloys and tryres one would suggest for the Swift (Links if any). I am looking for better ride quality without compromising much on FE. Let me know !! |

| As vikram has rightly said due to the large wheel wells of the swift 195/60/R15 would be a great upsize to add character to the car.I'm surprised maruti didn't find it criminal to shod it with skinny 165/80/R14 tyres, god what they do to cut costs :( |

| Hi Guys. Greetings to All. Great practical Indian site. I purchased a swift VXi 5 days back. I opted for dealer (Spectra) fitted Alloys. But retained the same rubbers. I was given a Invoice which says 'MGA' next to the alloys. After reading thru various threads. Few doubts creep to my mind . I have 14" alloys as Maruti original/Genuine spares. But the ZXi has 15" Alloys as original fitments!. So has MUL started making/supplying 14"Alloys as original spares? Do all tubless tyres have their valves sticking out a bit too much. Arent they likely to get more damaged than normal tubed tyres. Why dont we use self locking nuts (Teflon Type) for the wheels? Thanks |

| Senior - BHPian | okay here are my tyre upgrade choice for my cousin's swift vdi(w/o abs though) i have decided 195/65-R14 or 195/70-R14 now would someone suggest me the best brand of tyres for best handling and decent tyre life! mileage is not a concern though and price for each tyre not more than 5k bucks! i was kind of planning for 6J or 6.5J rims i can still fix the stock tyres on the 6J rims though, and a max of 7J is allowed for the above mentioned tyre sizes! please suggest me the best brand! |
