Let me clarify,
Nikkibike's S drives lasted him a good 37k, and he drives harder than anyone I've seen. So while I have no personal experience with S drives for 40k, I believe I'll be able to stretch my new S drives to atleast 40k. The potena G3s that I had in 185/70/r14 lasted me 30k, so, fingers crossed.

I was under the impression that neovas dont last beyond 20k, which is what pushed me over to the S drives, along with the price and the loss of straightline acceleration.

Do neovas come in 185/70/r14? My steel rims are still with me.

I know this is OT, but are PP2s available in 195/55/R15 ?

Haven't driven on the AD-07's, but I would rate it good in terms of wet grip . I remember driving in the rains to coorg on the hunsur road and the car never complained a wee bit inspite of me pushing it.

If not for 205, are there any performance tyres like the PP2 for the 195/60/R15 size ?
You get S drives in 195/55/R15. Sourced them for Phoenix's 110bhp hatch.
I strongly suggest you don't get 205s for your 87bhp swift.

I think you ought to quantify that statement with how the tyres are driven. They're meant to be pushed -- the world's best dry tyre. If you're doing a daily commute in a sub 90 hp car, no point saying they last 20k km.

On the other hand, mine lasted a good 25k km and more, and this was with me pushing them like mad, with good suspension to match. And I've taken some pretty bad roads with them...

vivek that was a very well written review, straight from the heart!!
i have made exactly the same observations like you did with my swift on s drives, the very first thing i noticed was that i have to use two hands instead of one while cornering.ill update on my experience later! till that time S(afe) Drives

I dont think Nikhil meant how they are driven rather how they are maintained. They probably need lower alignment intervals with air pressure monitoring.

I have to agree that they can handle bad road, atleast in the profile that i am running.

Mohit, what roads are you driving on? A few bhpians had to wait for nearly 30mins while going to CBE because I couldn't cross 40 at Satyamangala ghats. AD-07's are horrible in bad roads and even the sharpest blade of grass can probably cause a puncture .

Drove Karthik247's baleno shod with S drives. Same issue as faced on the elantra. Wheels lock up big time on braking and not hard braking at that. I am never going to suggest them to anyone.
