You almost scored a Bulls eye thelightening !!
I'm pretty sure those figures you have posted up there are pretty accurate for the buy back. I am trying to help Rajesh source alloys + tyres bro, not for myself.

Unfortunately, I can't help a lot in this buy back bargain for Rajesh. :(

But what I can help Rajesh is in getting a handsome discount for the new set of Alloys & Tyres siince I know few dealers with some neat collections.

Merely depends on the tread left on the tires. You definitely would get the tires worth if they are in shape without any sidewall cuts or nicks.

Now Rajesh, when you go in for Alloys & New tyres, I would advise you to get Nitrogen into those new rubbers. Here are the advantages:

I drove like close to 750kms during a road trip on the stock 14 inch swift rims. 3 of the wheels were 15 inchers and one was a 14 incher. Dint find any problems after a thorough check post the trip.

haha hey rj what I meant was that inner wall of the Alloys would not rust or corrode as they would if you had natural air.

Not that Natural Air is bad folks, Nitrogen is just too good!!

Btw, one of my relatives was mentioning, he had got nitrogen filled for the stock tyres of his Ford Ikon and he was finding the handling & suspension to be of much improvement after the filling.

Would you feel that, since at present i am not in a position to upgrade to alloys (Vit M deficiency !!), should i also try out filling nitrogen to the stock tyres of my Wagon-R.
Hey rjstyles & vik0728 many thanks for the concern shown towards me in guiding me towards the alloys & tires.

Also, pls have a look at the above query and let me know if this is possible and what will be the pros & cons of the filling nitrogen to my stock radials ??

Wow, Will it give me any surprises like scratching my arches or something? My wagonR is 2008 model one, not the newly introduced one !

You seem to have a lot of money at your disposal eh . 1st of week April you upgrade to Plati's and Michelins and half way thru May you wanna go to 14's.

BTW I haven't seen a single WagonR(older one) running on 14's and cant comment.

I honestly will not recommend 14". Ride quality will be ATROCIOUS and due to the ultra low profile tyre, you risk alloy wheel damage, tyre damage and in the worst case, suspension damage.

Isn't 195 a bit too wide for the WagonR? The wide option provided on the VXi models is only 155.

However, if it fits- 195/45 -14 makes sense with minimum error!

hey thelightening I am running my Santro '07 on 15" with 195/45 profile Nankang rubber for over 4 months now without any issues!!

Since the old Wagon R comes with 13" OEM rims, 14" shouldn't bother you a bit. However, I have serious doubts if you will find 195/45 in 14" config.
What I am sure of is that you will find 185/55 in 14" since one of my close pal is running on same combo on his Santro. PM me if you need help in sourcing one.

But as rj has posted, You really seem to have loads of Vit M at your disposal bro to change Alloys so often, if you are again looking at upsizing your ride!!

Well you need to find ways to fit it coz in 14" this is the only upsize available as far as I know.

You dont have any options in 195/45 R14. At least in the legal tyres department.
