hey viper

I guess your current tyre size is 175/70r13....
I think a good upsize would be 185/70r13...
If u are thinking about upsizing the rims also then there are lots of options...
Fellow t-bhpian Vish is runnin his Getz with 16"...

Am currently contemplating either 195/60/13 or 205/60/13 if they dont touch. Whenever I do put alloys they would be either 13" to save on cost of tyre exchange or max 14".

Default Tyre upsize for Getz

Hi,

I would like to go for a tyre upsize for my getz(175/70/R13). Iam planning to get new alloys and would like to get your opinion on the upsize whether 175/65/R14 or 185/60/R14 would be more suitable. Hyundai gives 175/65/R14 as the default for Getz top most model. So Iam bit confused on choosed between the above two sizes.

Thanks,
Nanda

you can get 185/60 r14. itll be just fine. and if you want more grip try 195/60 r14. perfect upsize for the getz.

I think 185/60 R14 should do just fine for the Getz. What tyres are you planning to get?

Thanks Akshay. I hope upsizing does not void any warranty for the car.

Thanks. As per your's and other's suggestion in this forum, I have zeroed it to Michelin XM1. I will be doing mostly city driving and occasionally highways. I hope upsizing does not void any warranty for the car especially the suspension.
