As always, Dussey - your cars are in top form !!

The green Morris (?) van is looking really cool- a rare one in India. Any info / pics on it ?

What a treat to watch

Most of the cars are from C S Ananth and Dr Selvaraj. Impeccable cars and great Collectors and Restorers

I especially loved watching Dr Selvaraj's Topolino run on the Road, Treat to eye's.

I was just comparing the 2008 Rally an note that lot of the cars are missing and participation in 2011 seems to have dropped. For a quick reference

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/vintag...y-chennai.html (MYTVS Heritage Car Rally - Chennai)

As expected the SS Jag seems to have stolen the show and shows why it was a Cartier participant. The MGTC (MYR xxx, Raichur, Karnataka registration) is over done with whitewall and chrome. The MGTD looks great.

The cars from the stable for C S Ananth and Dussey are outstanding in terms of restoration. Congratulations Dussey Sir for winning the prize for your Morris. Your Merc is missed. The Amalgamation Riley (Ex-Bangalore) restored by C S Ananth is looking good.

Jai's Windsor really holds it place and was definitely one of the stars of the show.

The Ford (UPR xxx) can easily be voted the worst of the show, most terrible restoration. The owner was definitely conned into this car which I understand was sold from Mumbai.

The motor bikes seems to have gained this year with the Indian and Triumph being the top bikes IMO. Nice the see a rigid frame Royal Enfield.

Kasli the Plymouth PJ is a MDY xxxx registration of TN, indicating this was not a Mumbai Car

Cheers

Thank you for sharing the pictures, and congratulations on your prize.

How many cars were there in total? Nice to see more bikes and a few new entries too. Once again, Jai's Chrysler looks terrific. Jai - you must put the bumper guards back in the right position.

It is indeed a Morris 8 cwt, and I think Dussey has a similar looking Fordson van. Dussey, if possible do share more pictures of this Morris.

I also noticed a light blue Fiat 1100 - any more pictures to share?

Also the Fiat 125 seems to be the same car that had earlier attended in a lovely silver shade with a super set of period cast number plates - sad to see them changed.

I remember the BRU Rover from Calcutta. She used to be black earlier. But what is that white car next to it?

Sri,

Congrats for the prize and thanks for the pictures. The cars look the same as they were few years ago. Infact I visited the show in 2007 at the same venue (the Mustang which belongs to a Raja (as told by the owner) was given away the top prize). The cars are in same pristine condition.

As for the Van, there is a similar Morris Minor Van rotting in bangalore, of which I had posted pictures here

http://www.team-bhp.com/forum/vintag...-cars-202.html (Rust In Pieces... Pics of Disintegrating Classic & Vintage Cars)

I have 2 more plymouth pictures. And also of the Chevy that DKG restored.

As for the query by Karlos, I have a wild guess, I may be wrong. 1973 Triumph Dolomite Sprint, they look similar .
