Yes I too suspect its from a later/last model Standard 20 (aka "Micro"), none of the earlier cars/vans had meters like these.

so many classics which can be easily restorable are still lying in remote parts of India.. very nice to see them being picked up by our community members.

It does appear to be from a 20, though I think the Micro and the earlier models shared the meter. I may be wrong.

Here is a dash shot of an army Micro that was later scrapped.

Karl I recall seeing your pics. of that early 20 mini-truck (lying in the same compund where the green mk3 herald was?) that was later broken up on the spot. It had the speedo (and other guages as well I guess) identical to the mk3/Gazels.

A really sad sight! I'd passed by this garage a number of times earlier but today was the first time I checked it out and found this!!

A Willys FC station-wagon converted into a garage shed!!

The high-roof profile could mean that it was earlier used as an ambulance, maybe even a police van, dog van or mail van?

Default Vauxhall!

Hello people!!!

I spotted a Vauxhall at the Indian Oil petrol pump bang opposite the Sri Fort Auditorium in South Delhi. I couldn't get a good look since the car cover was on, so I don't know about the model. But judging by the shape & design, if I were to guess, I'd say it a Velox 4-door (1955). From what I've been told, its been parked there some 20 odd years.

The pump guy also said it was up for sale. I believe the amount he quoted was Rs.4 lakh

Cheers!
