Perhaps you should be more discrete when stealing from someone, especially from the Police, rather than advertising it on the world wide web!

OT, but Manish did not steal the monogram. He just 'flicked' it. There is a very subtle difference, you just have to find it (the difference).
But, there are a few things you should not necessary post. This topic, changed registration numbers and in some cases pricing/offers. Like if you answer an advertisement, one should not put the negotiations on the net, better to PM such info to those concerned.

All,

Tks for the good advice, well I don't see any crime in doing so but should not have been vocal about it. Sometimes you get tempted after seeing good original stuff that you cannot resist. I still regret on not getting the Horn Button, cabin lights, and much more good stuff which is otherwise not available.

Will be more discreet in my communication henceforth.

This brings to mind a similar episode with me and your Adler Sedan... as they say the rest is history.

Well, technically, it isn't really the Government's, they are just giving temporarily lodging to those cars there!
They are by and large very much 'open' to the public. How else did most of them lose many of their parts, including more prominent ones like headlamps, glass etc?

What model is this likely to be? Is it indeed a Ford?
Some more pictures of the same Taunus.

Well, strictly speaking these are not govt. property, Govt is a mere custodian. But they fail miserably to look after such property, though they are supposed to. That is why whenever there is a case, people try to get back such evidence and keep in their custody but have to undertake to make available whenever required to be produced when a case is going on. So in the first place the govt as a custodian has to keep in better shape. They could start by winding up the glasses, and the govt can help by expediting cases.
