Sorry to hijack your thread Tazmaan - but couldn't find any other thread where I could post this.

Guys I am having to sell the car due to personal reason.

I am in the process of closing the deal and with a heavy heart I will have to let her go.

Last edited by GTO : 5th September 2016 at 11:17. Reason: Sucks to see her go :(. Thread will remain open though (in case someone else has a related query)

I'm saddened to hear this. Hope she finds a good owner.

Does this mean you will be a Mercless guy now at least for the near future, or is there a silver lining?

Well with 2 kids with 2nd one being only 6 months old, I needed a more reliable and safe tourer which leaves no room for hobby cars. I am going to be Mercless as of now. Only silver lining is I have booked the Isuzu D-max Vcross which will be delivered on Dussera. This fits in the slot of being a hobby car at the same time safe and reliable tourer.

Dear Sirs,

I am an ardent automobile enthusiast and Mercedes-Benz has always had a very special place in my heart.

My brother and I are collectors of scale models and have earned two national awards for our collection, Autofest City, based at Mysore. The collection has approximately 1,800 authentic replicas, many rare, hand-built and limited editions.

We would like to celebrate Mercedes with a real car display in a dedicated building. One of the cars we need is a 1986 W126. The car should be in pristine condition because it is going to be a museum piece and will occupy a very special place in our hearts.

Please let me know if you have any acquaintance who would like to sell his W126 (any version). Please advise.

Thank you for your kind assistance.
