Default Motor Diaries India: A YouTube channel for Classic Cars

I was on YouTube watching videos of some of my favourite classic Alfas when I got the following video as a suggestion:

Without wasting a second, I realised that its the Bombay Alfa Romeo 1300 GT Junior which is a regular at the Sunday classic car drives. I immediately opened the channel and saw a lot of other similar videos. I was quite impressed with the channel. Seems like its inspired from Petrolicious. Nevertheless, a beautiful channel with interesting stories by their owners. Hoping to see some T-BHPian owned cars on the channel soon!

Some other videos from the channel:

Nice thread. Some familiar faces and many beautiful cars in the videos.

Alfa Romeos, especially the old ones, have so much soul. It's hard not to fall in love with one when you spot it. The Giulia is very beautiful indeed.

I never liked the Standard Herald as a boy - preferred my Fiat 1100 to it. But over the years, it's turned into a real charmer.

And then, there are the Chevy Biscayne and the Pagoda - what can I say?

I agree with the gentleman when he says these cars are a test of the drivers' skills. New cars are much easier to drive and manage with all their features.

This "storytelling" style of car videos is quite popular on youtube and vimeo, but this is the first time I'm seeing the format being applied to India.

Great job, by whomever has taken this initiative. I couldn't find their names mentioned anywhere, though I'm sure quite a few BHPians would know who's behind it?

Read it on rushlane.com

The youtube channel is an intellectual property owned by Sooperfly.

Those videos are very nicely put together. I only wish they recorded a little of the sound of the cars instead of the music filling the entire video.

That Herald took me back to my childhood when my father had a Mark III for some time.

That Alfa Romeo is such a lovely car. I am glad to have chanced upon this thread.

Getting good car sound is actually incredibly difficult without specialized audio gear - especially in a noisy city like Bombay. (That's also my excuse for not including much sound in the video linked above )

I guess I know what you mean. The recording would probably have more honking than engine note. But still, one would just about get "that" feel.
