I cannot find the words to express my admiration for the work done by the owner, restorer and everybody else who contributed to this restoration. This restoration is out of the top drawer. This is such an inspiration. Unbelievable. I am going to go through this thread at least twice a day, for the next six months at least!

Absolutely phenomenal work.

I simply cant even imagine the level of insanity all the people involved had to reach while deciding to go ahead with this!

It must have been such an incredible high for the people involved to see major landmarks in the process! Maybe the first time this pile of crap started looking like a car, the first time the car stood on it's own tyres, the first time the engine started up and ran smoothly!

Hats off to the team involved in this!

Wow, that is unbelievable. Must have taken an infinite amount of guts, skill and confidence to pull this off.

Congratulations to everyone involved in this restoration. Perfect example of how anything is possible if you set your heard and mind to it.

Wow again.

Until I finished reading the posts, I wasn't really sure that the restoration would reach such incredible level. Great work team, absolutely fabulous! The car looks fantastic in that shade and she's a beauty. I don't think words could accurately describe the efforts and pains the team must have taken to restore such a rare car.

Thanks for sharing the story. Truly appreciated!

Hi,
Incredible restoration.
What was the original colour? Why not keep it?
I expect the tach/ speedo are chronometric. Who serviced those?

OT- Can you fill me in on when (model number) Bristol shifted the position of the battery and spare tyre?

Regards
Sutripta

Just astonishingly beautiful and an amazing achievement. Congratulations!

But there must have been a hundred thousand parts that needed to be hand-made/machined. It would be nice to see some more detail.

I can't find another word. Astonishing. I'm just astonished!

Absolutely mind blowing. Hats off to the owner and everyone involved to literally pull this car out of its grave and bring it back to life.

Please do share more pictures of its past and also how it landed up in the state it was in. Also, what motivated the owner to take on this challenge?

I don't know too much about classic cars, but I can say that restoring this rusted and crushed automobile would have taken a whole lot of effort from all the people involved. And the drool-worthy pictures prove that every single bit of effort is completely worth it.

Can you provide details about what you did for the engine and how it runs today?
