Try contact TBhpian KarlosDeville. I consider him to be a leading expert in vintage autos.

Hey baddy, check with Pudupet first.
If u dont find there, hook up with any of the classic car owners. They got a club where they help each other in restorations. So, u might get lucky.

hi sorry for the late reply, the car has still not been touched, we got it cleaned n some body works were done, so this time round we are getting very serious with the restoration..... n yes i do have the original piston along with conrod, the rings are present in 2 pistons(whose skirts are a lil chipped n damaged), i may consider buying the whole engine also if anybody has it, or can source us one, then pls contact this number 9840265567 its my friend "kamesh" who owns the car. as for the pics here they are:

parts for austin seven are cheap and plentiful on ebay uk, the only issue is postge cost on heavy items. i have seen brand new hepolite piston sets selling for as low as 15 pounds, which is much cheaper than what most dealers charge here. i have bought several items on this site which worked out cheaper including postage costs, than prices demanded for inferior items here. for example, a brand new fresh stock brake master cylinder for my karmann ghia cost me 1200 rupees total from abroad. the one guy in delhi who had it wanted Rs3500, and the seals would have needed replacement.
