amatmo that is a lalique peice, just for show. he is getting the original maskot which i am holding in my hand repaired. if you notice carefully the original one has a tempreture gauge on it and it stopped working. the lancia and the 680k both have lalique maskots which are put on for show. not used for rallies or when the cars are taken out.

I don't know why but considering how rare & special this car is, it still doesn't excite me at all. Somehow she seems dull & not so special. Maybe, it's because its a really old car or maybe it's because I can't get a grasp of it in pictures.

But all said & done I'm left unimpressed by it. Infact, in the current state it looks a little tacky to me.

. it does not excite me at all too. i took detailed pictures for our fellow members. the colour the number on the grill are too dull. the convertible top also looks odd according to me. dont know if you noticed the steering wheel of the car is also wrong, it should have been thinner. the car probably in a darker colour would look better minus the top and the number. the lancia took my fancy over the 680k. it also maybe i have seen it a numerous timesand it is like any other car there.
