What year is the B31? I am trying to get detail pictures of how a 1951/2 B31 looks like. The ones on the web I was able to find dont get into details. Also if someone knows what colors were offered that would help me a lot.

Picture of my 1955 B31 and also of one displayed at the national motorcycle museum Birmingham.
We had a 52 B31 as well, the major difference was the rear suspension. That came with a plunger and this has regular shock absorbers.

Thanks for the picture, am in the process of getting a B31 plunger (paperwork in process) and need to get some cosmetics like the tail light,seat, badges and was wondering what they look like. Do you happen to have closer shots of that?

The annual Pune Festival rally organised by the MASA is on schedule for the 7th of September, and will be held at the CPR (Police Club) Pashan. More details as I receive them. I will be travelling with the mole in his mint 1956 180D Mercedes, so expect full pictorial coverage of the event.

Try contacting the MASA on 25679030. I doubt a 96 Padmini would be eligible though.

For the Plunger B31 the color options were Black or Maroon with chrome tank panels.

January '96- wow! I didnt know we had rallies here as long ago as then! I was in 9th class then, busy with worrying about my marks in Maths, oblivous to the finer things in life then!

Ohhh great Dominator, yes that DKW is with me now. Great bike it is, tiny and very fun to ride, the action it gives with the front spring is amazing.

Yes,that is Kermin himself. Hyderabad used to be very active before. The 1992 Krishna Oberoi rally had cars participating from all over India. The Bangalore had participated in a convoy of about 20 cars, driven down. Manvendra judged the event.
