Sounds good. Why not?
You are already a member of the FCCCI, anyways. Aren't you?
I remember feasting with you at Cafe Mondegar during one of our earlier meets.

The only thing that is really keeping me from buying another car is the fact that my poor Morris is still sitting in the garage unrestored.

What a Great bunch if Fiats! - Wish I could have joined you.

The Deluxe is Awesome! Love the colour combo. I would appreciate getting in contact with the owner to find out more about its history.

The Custom was well done and added an up beat note to the gathering. Was any performance work done to the car?

My engine of ok for City driving but needs to be rebuilt for any serious long distance driving, so I am arranging to have a used engine installed while Sircar rebuilds the engine. I've had a few friends suggest putting in 40 thousand pistons and a free flow exhaust system. Any comments and /or suggestions would be welcomed - now's the time!

Again What a show and hope some day we can have such a Club here in Calcutta.

Uh john, which of these cars is a Deluxe? AFAIK, the only known Deluxes in India so far are your car WBF 1, and a Black one I know of here in Hyderabad.

Anyways, good show, guys! I can imagine the nostalgia y'all evoke in Bombay with all the OHH REE GEE NAL 1100s parked in a line, as they were when new!

John is referring to the cream/brown car. The pics are in the previous page.

The car looks simply superb. Loved the color combo....

I have taken pictures of only one FIAT1100 (the Italians pronounce it as "MILLE CHEN TOH") which I saw there (obviously left hand drive). I cannot post pictures as the camera memory is high, so Cyrus will do something to post them. The car was white in colour and looked very decent. It seems to be in everyday use in Rome. I also saw many old Fiat 500s (CHIN QUE CHEN TOH) in regular use. One of them belongs to the person I had gone to meet. I also met an Italian gentleman who has 10 old Fiats.

Sadly, I did not see even one Ferrari during my 4 days' stay there!

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar
Hi Behram,

Welcome back to "Aamchi Mumbai".
As much as you were missed, I think you missed "Little Italy" at Flora Fountain on Sunday.

The two fresh cars we are seeing, the modded Delight and Deluxe Super Select, are really stunning.

Any more better pics of the two cars???

!
Shyam,
Can you give me any history and photos on the Deluxe in Hyderabad.

Mine was owned originally by a Bengali movie actress but i haven't been able to get a detailed history if it was purchased with the deluxe trim or it was added later. It also has a one piece grill which is unusual.

Thanks,
John

Thanks for sharing the pics with us.
Your PRESIDENT is looking just stunning, like a showroom condition. Pleasure to watch it again & again with your ELEGANT.
