The date was fixed to be the 18th for the meet. what i was asking is are we doing a drive or we just going to meet at DPC and then head home. I have a Fiat which the owner has been kind enough of letting me bring her for the drive and i do not want to waste the oppertunity in having her parked on the side. He might not be in a good mood the next time .

Congratulations, Karl. Regarding the colour, I had a discussion with a friend a few days back, who grew up with a late model '72 Delite-President cross-over and he mentioned Sardine Nimbus too. I remember his car in it's original avtaar and her colour vividly. Always looked a little bluer than our '70-'71 Delite, which my folks always referred to as Steel Grey (and I recollect her colour in a slightly darker, blackish shade of Grey). Did the shade change a bit post '71? By the way, my friend's Delite came with the President-type of bumper over-riders, but all else like your car here!

Welcome Speedy Bhai.
Looking forward to a photo session with another new entry into FCCCI.
Followed by "PET KI PUJA", of course.

Thanks Prabal - I really love the colour, and was planning to paint one of my cars in this shade anyways. Any pics of your friends car? Does it survive? And I do hope the bumpers didn't come like that from the factory, as else that means I have one more Delight variant to collect, and I'm flat broke!

Hi guys... I'm new to classic Fiat ownership, although I did once help strip down and bare metal a friends Fiat 500. Regardless, as of yesterday I picked up a certain red and white Fiat 1100 from Mulund. I believe the car is known here. Anyways, after a small breakdown on the way home I managed to get her back to Vasai in one piece. Pics and writeup to follow.

Damn, shame it's so early! To make it all the way from Vasai would mean waking up at 5am on a Sunday, not too sure I can make it this weekend guys =)
