Thanks for the wishes. 8649 is a car I have been seeing literally all my life, just down the road from my house. Used usually only on Sunday nights by the elderly lady to go down to the club a couple of kms away, the car has done a genuine 42,000 kms, and is in completely original paint with ZERO bodywork done so far.

But the really interesting bit is how she came to me.

A couple of years back I did muster up the courage to pop the question of selling the car, and I was promptly shooed away. And would you believe this car came to the scrappers in Bombay, due to be broken soon? I got her just in time. And this is by far the best Fiat I own today.

Congrats karl!!

That sure is one lovely original President you got! And just in time! 'reminds me of a similar President that was nearly as original with the original interior that was sadly broken in May this year. I was told the owner had taken away the RC as well as the comm. no. plate so couldnt save her despite trying!

But glad to see that some others atleast do not meet the same fate!

So your President has a TWIN now!

Thumbs up Grandeur Meet - PUG and FCCI

First of all a big thanks to Rony for inviting PUG for the first ever meet. It was wonderful feeling to meet all the passionate owners of FIAT cars.

We had all the FIAT cars from the Linea to the old Siena except for Uno thou we saw a uncle driving a Uno past us twice to check out whats happening when we were at Kings Circle and all the FIAT gen were lined up

Cars driven were:
Linea 1.4 Petrol
Punto 1.4 Petrol
Palio Stile 1.6 Sports - 2
Palio Stile 1.3 MJD
Palio GTX
Palio 1.2 - 2
Adventure 1.6 Sports
Siena 1.2

All these were lined at one side of the road while facing the Classic cars on the opposite lane. Fantastic to see all generation of FIATs together.

I should say you guys have fantastically maintained your cars. I do not know all members name but loved the cars owned by Surinder (Black 1100), Nitin(Golden grey kind 1100), Rony's true President and also Karl's new acquired President and the one in sky blue 1100(so cute), i guess it was Ravi Nene's car, if i'm not wrong. Its truly an inspiration to own one classic someday and how passionately you all maintain your cars.

Lets hope we carry on this passion and come together for more such meets in the future

Cheers from the Palio Users Group - Mumbai!

Attaching the pictures below of the meet..Enjoy!

PUG members from Mumbai and Navi Mumbai met at Kingscircle first

Nice one Karl, interesting story....
Guess it was in your Kismat

Who is the Kid with the Beige colour Fiat. The Car Looks good man.

And those indicators on the lovely Grey Dukkar don’t Go well with the car.

Just my thoughts no offense please.

You must be referring to the vertical PAL logo on the blue car. These came fitted on the Premier Presidents only, the first venture of Premier Auto after Fiat's contract ended. I have a certain pic of the logo, though wouldn't fulfill you need.
@President: Rony sir i hope you don't mind me answering the question asked to you.
