Hardly any traffic in the picture
Looks like a pic of the 80's with modern cars in the background

Neat car though

Incidentally, I'm not sure but was told that US-spec 'dukkar' 1100s had these kind of headlamps as their laws required bigger headlamps. I cant find pics. of any though but I expect them to have looked like this.

Default Pune !!

Was in Pune for an hour today - for an unplanned condolence visit.

Can you stop a Fiat fan from spotting Fiats ?? (Umm- sorry, but I seem to have created a 'tongue-twister' of sorts)

Saw this baby at Narayan Peth, Pune. Totally neglected, but NO rust at all ! Some original stuff in there, like aluminium outer door handles - 2 at least. Plus a beautiful thin steering with a clean Fiat horn button. Good jewel lights too.
Scavengers - alert.

I have been seeing this car for last couple of years. Fortunately it has not degraded much but its slowing going under the road. The tyres used to be ON the road earlier.

Can anyone here save that car.

Look a good car and will not need much hopefully to get it back to its former glory.

On the 15th of August 2011, the Pune chapter of FCCCI had a flag hoisting ceremony at Blind school, Koregaon Park as well as a get-together.

The Fiat club donated a keyboard to the blind school on this occasion.

My friend Sandeep also participated with his "new" Fiat 1100, although some cosmetic fittings are pending.

Here are a few images of the event taken by Sandeep:

Why am I feeling so warm inside?

If I ever felt proud of owning a classic Fiat than today is that day.
After seeing these pics, I have so many things to say but words are failing me. So I'll stay silent & salute the spirit of Pune Fiatians.

Raab Rakha.

Good to see our classic car clubs contributing to noble causes.
IMHO every such club should have such get-togethers once in a while.

And not to worry, your friend's Fiat is soon to get those pending cosmetic fittings to complete it!

I am seeing this car from last 8 years in the same place. It hasn't moved. Don't know the owner. I tried to trace the owner many times. But can't.

Great job guys! I appreciate you guys for having this meet on a special occasion with these special kids, tough my heart feels the pain with the fact that they cannot see this wonderful world but happy that you guys gave some joyful moments in their lives. I am not sure if you have taken them on a ride in the classics, if not it would have been a nice idea, what if they can't see, they could have felt the fun of a real car. If not now next time. I agree with Stanher on this point every club can follow this spending time with those who are deprived of many things esp for a kids who love cars and bikes esp: orphans at least we give them the happiness and the sense of satisfaction we get apart from owning a classic car is beyond words. I thank all those who participated in this noble cause and hope and wish many would follow.

hi friends, i spotted a good condition, but out-of-regular-use, station wagon premier padmini car, a karnataka government vehicle , parked in the covered stilt car-parking area of professional tax office ( PT 01-10) near majestic railway station bangalore, enroute mantri mall. i believe they are few in number now. those fiat lovers liking station wagons, may try to buy this old lady from the government dept at rock-bottom rate. sorry, i could not take pics.

thanks,
