While I was very impressed by this one owner car, There are many things that could have been done right. The rear doors are already rusting (after a recent restoration), the bootlid lock is incorrect and badge missing. The petrol cap lock system is changed to a flap, the bumper guards are new Indian ones, the rear view mirror and headlights are incorrect. These small touches could have comfortably transformed the car to one of the best there are. Note the taillights without relfectors.

That's an interesting VW in your pic. Do you know anything about it?

Thats a cleverly built contraption, based on Type 4 running gear, and earlier wheels, and other misc vw parts. It is made to resemble (very closely!) a Tempo G1200, which was used by the danish army in WW2. It featured 4 wheel steering, and 2 engines and gearboxes...one up front and one at the rear. Of course, this local knock off sports a conventional type 4 VW engine mounted at the rear.

Well, the Italian ones are a little fatter, a little more rounded. The locally made after market items are more straight on the sides and pointier at the top. The difference is very subtle, you may not notice it in pictures, and sometimes in person as well.
