Chaps,
I'll be off on a pilgrimage to the eight Ganeshas- Ashtavinayaka Yatra. Please excuse me from this month's meet.
Speedy, would've loved to meet you.. next time perhaps.

Unhappy Finally

I guess this is the place I could announce this. MH06 C 4035 is finally sold. A car less in the club.
The car was most special to me. My first car & owned by me (my parents didn’t want the liability of being registered in their name).

Girls could not believe what kind of a girl will fall for me for driving this car Dared to drive to college like most of us
Was the youngest guy in the office driving the oldest model car according to them.

It was special to me because it was MINE for all the joys and all the trouble. Yes, it had its own set of troubles like corrosion to the bone, had got a head job done twice.

The car was one of the not so good looking one in its club but an angel underneath. It was in bad health sometime spewing blue and sometime spewing white smoke, but it failed to disappoint every time. It never broke down in the middle of no where. Always reached me home safely, just like a faithful horse and once there, it refused to start.
What I will miss? The 'Maska' gearshift (Adheesh, Ravi and Varun have given testimony for it).

Thank You for everything.

That is very sad to hear indeed Kavesh55. I am sure there would be alot of pain and heartbreak watching her leave. I hope she has gone to better pastures.

Here is a picture of the fiat at the garage. Could you guys fill me in with the year and other details. The doors were locked so could not take pictures of the interiors.

Well, since it can be prominently made out as a bawa's car, it certainly should be.

Cyrus the car has not come for restoration to me. It belongs to Jehangirs uncle and is just being parked here for some time.

Michael schume the car is parked at my Garage in Andheri. I am in for the meet.

I also saw a Centre light 50's fiat at Chembur. I could only see the front of the car cause it was parked in a building with part of the front showing. It was black in colour and looked like it was in decent condition.

Im quite sure the cranking handle slot has been cut later. For it to be usable you need to cut a hole in the front valence as well. This picture was taken in Feb 2007, car was entered by one Mr Singh. Lot of efforts were put into the car no doubt, though it was still lacking in many respects.
