Thats truely a big premium for this car, but...

1) Second Owner
2) Untampered
3) 16 yrs of single ownership
4) Not visited the workshop since 2 yrs for any repairs
5) All NOS spares used in the car
6) New floor and a new carb installed 7 yrs ago.
7) Runs like any daily use car.
8) A true 1300 with all uptodate papers.

Considering the above facts ......!cheers:

hey congrats to the lucky dude who picked up brigiders car. yes pavan that was one really well maintained piece probably one of the better cars i have seen on the road.
Somehow i cannot figure why somebody is so upset about the deal. I think 3.5 for that car is reasonable, though for what particular reason is the car being scrutinizing so intently and why is it being torn down on a public forum??

Neat car, i think classics are becoming really pricey these days. Then again with the posted details, this is one rare find.

I have nothing to say about the price - that's best left to the interested parties! Paint/Colour scheme again is not such an issue for me. However, I don't quite understand these headlights and tailights on a '66 Bug. Pawan, you're quite an expert on VWs, are these correct?

Edit: Also the rims and hubcaps, please.

This is for fiat afficionados! A '65 delight (although regn. no. is from late 70s/early 80s) just brought in by the scrapwala today. 'waited for nearly an hour there to see this car!
Looks quite decent & definitely roadworthy, although not too original, unlike what I'd expected when I first heard of the car. I can see a lot of mods. done on it, including the radiator.

The side-pattis were all padmini ones, so I didnt bother to stop them when they plucked them off.
He's got the RC and even the trasnfer forms all signed. The owner refused to give the battery so they towed it in.

He's quoting 30k though, may come down by 4-5k from what I know bout him!
And as usual, he demanded a response by tomorrow else he'd break the car....!
Note: Not blanking out the plates as I have the permission to upload the pics.

Anna Sir Alec,

That yellow is my car, it looked that way 6 yrs ago, with Ambassador headlights and fiat bumpers.

Early 2004 i did a mini restoration and got original fittings.

Default Afew classics available in Bangy

Came across a few cars available for sale,

First one is a millicento missing the front grill, docs are upto date and the car is in running condition, needs some body work and a fresh coat of paint howevere the asking price is a little steep at 45,000. If any one is interested, let me know.

Second one is a W115, in a very bad condition. However has the original engine. All papers are upto date and i guess it is 1972 model. Needs a lot of work. Asking price for this car is 60,000. Did this car come with a power window option? If you look at the dashboard there are 2 buttons in the center next to the steering onto the lest to operate the front windows. Doesnt look like original though, but works.

Here are the pics,
