Second one is a W115, in a very bad condition. However has the original engine. All papers are upto date and i guess it is 1972 model. Needs a lot of work. Asking price for this car is 60,000. Did this car come with a power window option? If you look at the dashboard there are 2 buttons in the center next to the steering onto the lest to operate the front windows. Doesnt look like original though, but works.

Here are the pics,
OHMIGOD!!! Both these cars are sheer crap! They belong in the rust in pieces section! I can go on and on about the problems.

P.S: will somebody shoot the nincompoop eho did this to a 115?? Indoor home fixture switches in a car??? Sad!

@ srisha: Is it possible to get it reconverted to steering cloumn gearhift ? Otherwise the car looks salvageable ! (of course minus the gas kit, JayD)
@ Stanher: Hey Shyam, the Delight looks nice and original, wish I had the bandwidth for another acquisition !! Very very soon, even this shape Fiats will vanish from our roads.
Mamma , someone get me wheel rims like those !!

Dear Ravi - the floor gear kit was introduced in 1977 for the first time and was derived from the original Fiat design. My father was the first customer of the floor gear car purchased from Maha Auto on 25 November 1977. It was MMF1845. This fellow has had to cut the floor because it has remote linkages for which floor panel drawing is different. This got eliminated when Nissan transmission came in production because Nissan had a direct shift (the one that I have on my LHD). Don't worry, I have good news for you. Your wheel rims are on the way. And yes, that ATR5400 is a salvageable car and it will be sad to see it go, but how much can we handle ? Wish I could lay my hands on the instrument cluster plate. After equipping the LHD with it, I have only one left with me now.

Best regards,

Behram Dhabhar

Yup it is certainly a salvageable car. And with fitting the right missing parts like the aluminium tail-lamps (I have a pair ), numberplate lights (I have one!), correct grille (Behram & son have 3 of those- that too imported ones!), correct side-pattis (I have a new set in aluminium), side-indicators and of course the original steering wheel, it sure would be complete!
Plus this is an early delight, with the air-vents on the dash as on the Italian delights, so that makes it all the more rare.

Its indeed a bit disappointing that it finds no takers even here.....but, I'd have to say Behram is right- how much can we (even I) handle! :(
Meanwhile Ive just paid him 2k as a token to keep the car atleast for a week more, just in case! If not ultimately I'll be taking whatever parts of the car I can get for that amount. The rims/meters especially are real good!

The car is available as is, and I am sure it must be possible to reconvert to steering column gearshift but I am not an expert!

Srisha

I see two Mega Fiat crazy people entering into a Barter system agreement.
May I participate in the struggle over the aluminium Delite pattis, too?

You're right, Shyam - the entire dashboard looks nice, including the jewel lights. The bumpers look good too.
How about the inner door handles ? They look original too. All the best !!
@Behram : Sir, waiting for the wheel rims !!
