Whoa! pawan, you seem to be in hunting mode now! lotsa pictures posted. great work!.
Btw, i think this is a late 70's-80's japanese station wagon. Maybe toyota/nissan. (I Cant differentiate them, all look alike!)

Yup, that's a straight lift off the Qualis including the tail lights. Look at the jugaad at the roof joint for clues.

Brings back memories when i used to lust at the standard 2000. I also kept dreaming that my dad bought one and brought it home as a surprise. But we had to be content with our fiat 1100 Delight(hahaha)..the 2000 was a terrible car even by those days standards. My dads boss had one(UB Group) and it gave him a fuel economy of around 3-4 KMPL...ridiculous!!..it improved sightly when they replaced the flywheel and chain drive. It came with PS if my memory serves me right, but the contessa is was a better, smoother and solid car...

@AMATMO, this isn't a Toyota at all. It's a Datsun.

This is a 1975 Datsun Sunny 120Y, WB210 4-door Estate.

This third-generation model was current from 1973 to 1977. There were 2-door saloons, coupes and estates and 4-door saloons and estates. All bodystyles together, 23 lakh of them were produced.

There was a choice of two engines:
A 1,171 cc OHV and
a 1,428 cc OHV unit.

Case solved.

Ram

* * *

[ Recognized the carcass from a combination of three things.

1) the body molding line
2) the coke bottle waist, accentuated by the drooping molding line.
3) the location of the turn signal lamp hole on the right front fender, centered between the top fold and the molding line.

The body molding line
This starts at the headlamp, arcs down to the front wheel arch, follows the curve of the wheel arch, stops about 8" above the sill line, then runs the length of the wheel base, drooping down continuously and meeting the rear wheel arch, barely 5" above the sill line. Thereupon the moulding line follows the curve of the rear wheel arch and meets the tailgate just above the bumper and runs above the rear bumper to meet the symmetric moulding line from the other side of the car. ]
