The Chassis in the center seems to be a 46/47/48 BUICK ? the damage was maximum to the Dodge

A unique mishmash of parts , a mid 60's effort to create a formula car in Lucknow , I remember it - as a kid , being driven by a local Taluqedar down the main Hazratganj downtown area in Lucknow way back in the sixties - passing fad - now scrapped.

I counted parts from a FIAT 501 or 514 - engine , Millicento, abarth , dodge and many more. Says a lot about the owners passion .

Request to the mods , more appropriate place for this thread would be

"Vintage Cars & Classics in India".

Request - if possible , please shift the thread.

Captain, It's your thread, hence your prerogative. But, I think you are doing a fantastic job in covering the resting 'ol automobiles in UP; thank you for giving us these glimpses. And, the thread has grown to a few pages already even as a standalone. I think it deserves it's unique identity. But like I said, you're the skipper! Greetings from Calcutta!

Very interesting Daimler. Any idea why there is an arrangement for three fan belts?
Does the pre select transmission function? needs a bit of TLC though, hope the owner gives it the care she deserves .

Indeed! She looks fantastic, and so well preserved. Occassional seats plus partition - does she have royal provenance? Forgive my ignorance, but would this be a DB18? From which year?

What are these controls for? Are they to do with the Pre-Selector?
