Sometime in 1995, just out of college and with limited money, I was searching a VW beetle. I came across a garage in Caranzale near the dona paula round about... repairing and selling VW beetle. Very nice person. It is long time so don't know whether he still in the VW beetle?

Hey KArl, is the Karman Ghia still with Antonio Avellar ? The car used to belong to a friend who sold it to somebody for Rs. 50000 quiet sometime back. It was sold again until it reached Avellar. I think it is the car..

Antonio has had that Ghia for years, I dont think he would have sold it. He had this other white car with him for restoration, which was present at last years Bombay rally. Maybe you are speaking of that car?

Incidentally, a net-friend of mine from the UK had shared with some people including me (NOT in this forum) various pics. he had taken of Heralds (running as well as dead ones) and a rather crudely modded Gazel he had spotted in Goa when he visited in 1992.

You can find some of them here (no idea if any of even these cars in Goa still exist today- you might know better....?! )

This is a Volkswagen Beetle I spotted in Miramar, Goa (Its registration is also 'GOA' !)
