Default Rest in Peace...Pics of Resting Vintage and Classics

This thread is on the lines of Karls Rust In pieces.

Going around Bangalore i've come across so many cars which are intact but not rusting.

Little effort the cars are running.

There are few pics in this thread where they are not available for sale.

There are lot's more, will post them in the coming days

Any more pics on the same lines start posting.

Stanher this one goes to you.

Guys you are shooting me for this thread.

No probs bring it on.

This one's getting restored to its original glory.

This one is restored to its original glory.and resembles the one in Stanher's avtaar.

And this workshop does a great job of whatever they do. I've seen some Mercs some Mini's some Beetles and some Pajero's and lot many cars come out of it.

And yes they come out just the way the car comes out from the factory.

CBD and President here they come.

This one especially goes to the Fiat Classic Car Club and all fiat lovers all around.

I feel this one's the best of fiats that anyone's seen.

The owner's got so much passion for this car. He's not run it on road for more than 5000 kms from the time he's bought it.

So spotless and so damn clean. And mind blowing color combination.

This belongs to a 60 yr old man and he's not selling it for any cost. He also owns 2 more Fiats, i'll post them later if any one wants to have a dheko at them.

I feel no Fiats comes close to this.

Any Comments

Some more on the fiats

Here they come.

Yes even this car's owned by the same one who owns the earlier Fiat.

The interiors will put any modern cars to shame.

The Exteriors also would scare any latest model cars.

Some more on the earlier car.

Want some more Fiats lemme know.

The side parking lights on these -- are these fiat original? Are they still avail? These are closer in style to what my Fiat convertible should have and I'd like to replace the Maruti ones on there.

Thx,

Hmm....I hope they replace this dash (which is actually a Standard Gazel one) with the original type. Are they retaining the roof or making it into a convertible?

I certainly would agree in case of the grey Herald- boy isnt she a beeeauty!!! Sigh.......I wonder when I'm gonna see the day my Herald looks like that!

Aside, I reckon these pics. alone should be in classics being restored thread.

Excuse me?! I thought you told me repeatedly that you werent keen to go for any classics now since your family has a new car & so on...infact we had to let a couple of decent old fiats be scrapped when you werent keen on picking up one!

I'm not too impressed by this one car though- it'll scare not just new cars but even classic enthusiasts away by the looks of the mods it has on!

The other fiat is lovely though! Except of course for the wheel trims, as nitin pointed out.
