Do we need a classic car atleast to attend this meet?
Or is this free for all?

I think that part was clarified earlier here.

If not just wait for the next meet, and I can assure you that there will definitely be some new cars then. Watch this space.
To just see & talk, you can walk. To participate in the drive, you need a vintage ride.
Are you taking your vintage ?

Hmm......interesting! Of course its not unusual in India for contrasting places to exist cheek & jowl with each other!

OK 'nuff of digressing from me!

hey guys,

posted something last night but it hasn't been posted yet.

I would like to say that this is just an enthusiasts event that we are organizing. I'm new to Chennai and it would be a great way to meet ppl with a similar hobby and a great way to get to knw what cars are in the city.

All are definitely welcome to participate and to come watch the event.

Default Chennai Fun Run-Change of Venue.

Hi Chennai Vintage & Classic Car/ bike enthusiasts. Guess you guys have been wondering where the changed venue would be, eh ???
We have one of our keen enthusiasts, Mr.Pratap, having a Triumph TR3 who has offered us his wonderful shaded school premises. This is the LADY ANDAL SCHOOL, on HARRINGTON ROAD. We will start as planned at 7.30am (SHARP). All other plans remain same. The entrants with cars and bikes will be served breakfast, after which we will do the drive to Marina beach. Lookforward to seeing you enthusiasts on the 20th.

Congrats for arranging an alternate venue so quickly. Missed this meet; hope to catch up on the next one.

Many of us in Chennai will miss the quaint 'Drive-In.'

The restaurant stays. Only the car park & drive in facility goes. But that was the beauty of that place. sad.

@xoticars.. Will Team-BHPians also be served breakfast ? We too have tummies.

Only if you guys come in nitrous' vintage car (not the Ikon).

I skipped this thread all this time because the title indicated 'Run' and that is the last thing I would want to do in this sweltering heat. And of all days, on a Sunday. Only now came to know that it is a drive.

It is open to all , right?? I dont have any classics/vintage cars . Own a pulsar , thatz all.

I would love to come to Lady Andal College , this sunday morning and see all those beauties .If possible, take home some snaps and good memories .

After reading so much about vintage cars here in team-bhp I am excited to see those cars.It will be my first time watching a vintage car rally.

Let me know if a newbie enthusiast is welcome there?!!!..
