Btw which year make is this car?

Courtesy of "Zero Offset Steering" - another first for the 116. It was the W 116 that put to rest the notion that the finest cars in the world were from a place called Crewe!!

Cant sleep. Tomorrow I get to pick up my car from the Garage. Most of the work is done but I have to pick it up. They are repairing a major part of the roof and with my kind of luck with this car, I dont want another mishap. Was asked to come and pick it up tomorrow. ill go, see it decide if it needs to be shifted and if yes, will shift it. It still needs some minor parts and touches. These final touches will be attended to at the garage where my 115 is being restored or will probably send it to Gujarat for finishing at my Merc expert friends workshop.
Wish me luck. Will post pics anyways.

I was watching the movie "Guru" yesterday and in one scene there appears to be a 116 similar to yours (short wheelbase) in a similar colour too. Carried a bogus MRC registration.

there's also a black ponton. Dont know who owns that. Maybe Gogi can enlighten us.
