This is a nostalgic pic and needs identification. Since I am not clear about the answer, I felt that this is the best thread. Depending upon response I would post more old pictures of anonymous cars.

Cheers harit
That looks like a Hudson or a Essex to me

Perhaps this car is a Willys, circa 1931?

The grill emblem matches with the Willys or Rover (though not 30's Rovers) but 30's Willys always came with divided grills and so did Rovers. Also the starter hole plug is not charachteristic for both marques of that era. Needs more research. For a minute I thought it may be a Holden but not. I am leaning towards a continental car though.

Anybody guess which car is this, earlier somebody posted this pic. in one thread, now unable to locate that thread. This car was last seen in Hyd around 2 years back and later on it is learned that somebody from Bombay had purchased. This car was with the family earlier for 4 decades.

That's a nice find 'vintagepoint5'. It's a beautiful car. I have seen it in a rally couple of years ago but I have no idea about the make of the car. Guys need your help identifying it.

The only car that resurfaced for sale recently was the Oldsmobile belonging to the Prabhat Automobiles people. This could be it? I have no knowledge of the marque

I have searched my files for a Willys or Hudson and cannot find any between 1929-1931. I would guess the following with percentages of confidence. Willys (50%) Hudson (40%) and Chevrolet (10%)

Default DeSoto

Yes this is unique DeSoto as per the previous owner in Hyd, this car was with the family since it is new with over 4 decades. When it was shown to me I have taken attached picture with phone camera in Nov. 2006 and
latest picture (before and now).

Later on this car was sold and moved to Pune now, with some changes like missing front grill and monogram. However what I noted it is unique
never seen DeSoto like this before. It is strong car and very interesting
dash board. Previous owner in Hyd used to start and drive only occassionally in festivals and never seen any rallies.

Default Which one is this?

Was driving through Gurgaon yesterday and spotted this. I'm not as good at spotting cars, would request your assistance in identifying this very pink lady.

Dear Mr. Harit,

The picture of the car you have posted is a 1932 Plymouth PB, same as the car I am restoring! Isn't amazing that you had queried on this model a few months back! Any particlar details on this photo? We are curious to find out if there are any other Plymouth PB's in India.

Cheers

KPS
