The mystery car is a 1949 fleetline deluxe. Note the position of the trunk handle and the taillight orifice. The 1948 was very different, the 1950 was virtually identical from the rear with the exception of the trunk handle (went from a simple twist handle to a more prominent fork emblem and handle. Grew up with them, worked on them, owned them. It is a 1949.

This ford Maverick is owned by Mr. Lakshmi Raman (He also the owns the Dharampur 15 Jaguar).

Is that a 19XX Wolsey or a Humber ?

Could someone please help me to identify the make ?

The car Visited erstwhile Malabar in early stage of last century. The places visited where Malabar Christian College and YMCA Calicut
