Thank you Bhai. i did google and saw the Pictures. i now remember it being at Anoop's place. the picture of the car in the unrestored state is on the forum and was mistaken to be a lotus elan or another sports car. yes i am sure it must be a prize possesion today considering the limited numbers and rareity of the car.

That was my last sighting of the car. After that I dont know where it went but I can find out. I know its not junked but exists somewhere, maybe in Bombay itself.

@ Speedy- this is what a 914 looks like made between 1969-1976 and is a collectible today.

Sunny's car had the same wheels.
Here is the car Gogi bhai and Karl. picture was taken at Anoop's place.

wow, quite a few VWs there! Was Anoop a professional restorer? Or these are all just his personal collection?

Speedy, are you sure this was the same car that was at the garage at lonavala?? As the Lonavala car had bumpers from a different model. I remember closely as at that time i knew all Porsche models very well as i used to play NFS Porsche Unleashed every single day!!

Anoop was a professional restorer of VW cars. his garage had alot of them. he had a few as his own too.

this is the only porsche 914 i know off, that was/is in India. Gogi bhai has given the brief on the car already and this is the same car.

This car still looks very good.

The picture was taken years ago, so i do not know its present condition. It looks like a parking Sensor but i am not sure.
