A few cars and a Jawa bike I've seen in the 1976 movie NAGIN on youtube.

The white cabrio I conluded is a 1960 Fiat 1500 Spider, from the side profile:

But the front grille seems different on the movie car?

Couldn't identify the red coupe- also a Fiat?

Yes it is the same, hence I mentioned we may be able to see the first number. see the 3 to 4 quoted posts for reference. The car was originally white, later silver. I think also black at one point, not sure.

The car once again seems to get pride of place. However even though the same registration CPV 65 is shown, we cannot say for sure that it is the same car.

EXCERPTS:
Kunjalal Ganguly had a 1928 Chrysler which was only a year older than his youngest son, Kishore Kumar. Naturally, the priceless vintage and the little boy were very close, more so because with his father behind the wheel, young Kishore would often drive down in it from Khandwa to Mumbai to visit his elder brother Ashok Kumar who was a movie star. It was from these carefree rides that the idea of 'Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi' crystallised.

Chalti Ka Naam Gaadi was Kishore Kumar's brainchild. But it was his secretary, Anoop Sharma, who is credited as the producer, Kishore gave the rights away to his secretary.
But to this day, people remember it as one of Kishore Kumar's most memorable films.

"The gaadi survived him, slowly disintegrating in our yard. Finally, when it couldn't be salvaged, the BMC came and took it away. It was just a pile of junk by then but it still broke our hearts to part with family heirloom. Fortunately, it's been immortalised on screen," says Amit.

Well, the white cabrio has a different front grill because it is a Peugeot 404 convertible, there seem to be two in India. The rectangular lights at the grill are accessories.
The red coupe is a Morris Marina.

Check reference pics below for both, taken from the net. Glad to have been of service

I think the later Peugeot 404 convertibles and coupes (post 67 or 68) had this type of grill with integrated lamps

EDIT: as per Mike T's earlier post, it's post July 1966

A 1947/48 Standard 'flying' eight tourer features in this 1989 Telugu movie and even appears in a song in the movie. A mk2 Standard Herald also is seen:

Bengal's Mahanayak the late Uttam Kumar with his favourite car. Is it is a Morris of the 1930's?

Seems to be.

Incidentally the previous owners of my 1958 Baby Hindustan told me they bought the car from the great Uttam Kumarji. Cannot verify though, since the RC is the new smart card.

It is indeed a 1930s Morris 8 cut door tourer, quite like this one that we have.

A Fiat 1100 (most likely Select or Super-select) seen briefly in this song from the late 60s movie 'Khamoshi'...although not much of the car to be seen so would be a bit of a disappointment if that's all what you're looking for in the song.
That interior roof pillar light doesn't seem original (too large.) Note the nice radio fitted into the cubby box though, have seen this in quite a few fiats:

From the movie Shaan. The black car seen is a typically Japanese and of the 1970's. It could be a Toyota or Datsun that were quite sought after imports in India then.
