I would like to come and see.
In VV puram, near to those second hand bike shops, I saw couple classics with one of the mechanic for repair. He didn't want to share any information about owner or bikes.

regards
Yes Girish, these and a few more. Sure, we could tie up to meet on a holiday.

Thanks Ananth. I always give more priority to the mechanicals. The machines should run as well as they look.

Your 1936 registration is one of the last before they moved on to MYS 0001. In 1939 they started a new series with MY and a letter to indicate the area so MYB 0001 was Bangalore for example.
Back in the 1910s and 1920s, it was fairly common for registrations to have letters after the number as well as before it.

Thanks Cedric. I somehow still do not get a hang of registration numbers. I hardly remember the numbers of the vehicles I own / have owned.

BSA M20 - 500 cc SV. The bike has 2 tool box, which is wrong. It came fitted the same way and I left it at that.

Except for the 1952 Domi ( which I bought it as in the picture, just got the petrol tank repainted ) all the other bikes have been restored completely. Infact, the Square4 was a basket case. The Indian was repainted completely and minor mechanicals attended.

I have Pics of Khoday's collection of cars in the Brunton road Garage, the Supervisor/Mechanic showed us the cars. Nice cars he's got there, but later came to know that his collection at Kanakapura Road is much better. We were supposed to go there sometime but somehow our visit there is still pending...

PS : I can post those pics right ? as Pavan has already put them up.

As far as I know, it is a 4 cylinder 1200 cc Triumph. Can vouch for it, the owner is a very dear friend.

Didn't know the exact model, hence mentioned only triumph...

Looks more like the Vitesse.

@ Dominator : You Didn't answer my question. Wanted to know if you still have all the bikes you've posted pics of. Would love to see the Indian.

Wow, its lovely!
About the identity of the car, well the bonnet is definitely that of a 6 cyl. Vitesse.
Whereas going by the interior of the car it looks like a 1200cc herald!

Maybe its a combo of both! Pics. of the side/bootlid would make it easier to tell if you have those.

Dear all,
The car in the photo is only a Triumph Herald. It is not a Vitesse. Vitesse has only one head lamp & not twins. The grille is different fr a Vitesse. This car could be an Indian/UK 948 with twin head lamps fitted. I had such lamps in my old rally car. I don't think it is neither a 1200 nor a 1250.I have a 1250 .

Well the interiors are of the Herald 1200, Sorry Stanher i dont have any more pics of this car. May be Dominator can help us out on this.
May be its a herald 1200 with bonnet, lights and the grill changed...

Are you quite sure, sir?

Perhaps these images could help us clarify:

Vitesse 6 convertable

Anyways, if the whole car is not a vitesse the bonnet certainly is from one.

Twin headlamps appeared on ALL Vitesses, from the first Vitesse 6 in 1962-63 to the last 2L mk2 in 1970.
Maybe the single headlamp arrangement you're referring to is the Herald 13/60:
