MYTVS Heritage Car Rally - Chennai

Having survived a rather disastrous roadtrip, the details of which i'd rather not remember, i decided to check out this rally even though i had no sleep as we were driving the entire night!. The reason i'm telling you the above is that i need your assistance in captioning the photos, as i don't remember any of the model names exactly!. Apart from my sleep deprived hangover and the penchant for the Madras Heritage Motoring Club for staging events in shabbily maintained school grounds and the absolute lack of presentation thereof, i did enjoy looking at some really well maintained oldies. So here goes my post of photos i took at the MYTVS Heritage Car Rally organised by Madras Heritage Motoring Club on Sunday, September 14,2008. Hope you enjoy the pics.

Great pictures nikatnite. thank you for shareing them with us. a nice collection of cars in Chennai, i must say.
i just love the jaguar ss100 and the colour of the buick eight. The mustang and the Etype are gorgeous. one of my favorite cars.
Karl is this Etype the one in pune now. looks to be the same. hope you can shed some light since you have seen it in person.

MSC 3738 - looks like a studebaker but i could be wrong.
TMC 21 - jaguar ss100
MDC 6600 - hillman (not sure)

Karl is this Etype the one in pune now. looks to be the same. hope you can shed some light since you have seen it in person.

The Etype in Pune picture was shot before this event. And the Chennai E-type has been here for over a year now. Its confused even me since both are V-12s .But, I've analysed carefully and noticed that the chennai one has a "shell" exhaust tip which the Pune didnt have.
Btw, it was posted on the pune thread that it was a recent import. So is the chennai Jag!

That WBA 726X?? very nice (don't know the model) , beautiful Austin 7's, nice jeeps along with Dussey's trailer, Ananth's Vanguard and Triumph is beautiful.
Red Mustang and red Chevrolet are ......again again all cars are beautiful.

Another difference between the Pune and Chennai E-type V12's, the former is an LHD to RHD conversion. The Latter is a genuine RHD. Look at the wiper patterns
